I have started to feel flutters on the left and right sides of my lower abdomen since I was about 18 weeks and 4 days. Is it normal to not feel that “flutter” everyday? When should I start feeling the baby kick and doing kick counts?

It’s not uncommon to not feel that flutter all the time. You won’t have to do kick counts until you are 28 weeks. By then you will definitly know that baby is kicking.

Feeling fetal movement for the first time varies, because every woman is different with different body types, Weight of the woman also plays a factor , a smaller size woman may feel fetal movements before a larger size woman. Fetal counts usually start around 6 months or so
