My husband is so mad for gadgets. His company have just installed a new polycom soundstation and it is unlikely that he will ever have to use it as his job never calls for them. However, he is so excited about it that he has scheduled a pretend meeting in the room where they are, so that he can go and play with them.
He is really keen on trying out the Avaya IP office phones because they are supposed to be some of the best of their kind. I can just imagine him rounding up a few of the other techies in his department and playing with the kit, wearing the plantronics wireless headsets and pretending there are astronauts, pop stars or bodyguards. I just hope that there is a video camera in the room and someone posts it on youtube so that we can all take a look at what they got up to an have a real laugh – well why should they be the only ones to enjoy themselves!
